作为一位拍摄经验接近30年的摄影师，我最擅长的领域是人文纪实摄影，把平凡的瞬间凝固成灵动又充满情感的画面。我的目标是把纪实的优势融入到婚礼摄影中，尽量不干预新人的婚礼进程，用作品记录有温度的故事。不管过去多久，再拿出照片翻看，又会瞬间拥有那日的感动。

我们的合作，是一场双向奔赴。它超过简单的拍摄清单。您的故事第一无二，照片也是如此。我把它称为“婚礼的视觉故事”，不仅仅摆拍一些华丽的合影，更是用纪实摄影的手法拍摄婚礼现场和它辐射的周围一切。是在穿上婚纱时的表情、候场时的忐忑不安、甚至狗狗在婚礼现场满地乱跑。我想捕捉的是一个完整的故事，而不仅是单张照片。这，也许是我和其他摄影师的不同之处。

我在纪实摄影和杂志拍摄领域有着极其丰富的经验，曾经为《美国国家地理》、《时尚》、《ELLE》、《嘉人》等几十家杂志供图，拍摄的人像照片曾经在卢浮宫展出。拥有百万粉丝的自媒体《原来这么拍》主理人。出版《旅行摄影圣经》、《实战为王》、《超越构图》畅销书数十万册。《不在路上》、《隐·像》个人摄影展。索尼、哈苏签约摄影师、捷信全球大使、理光 GRist 大使、明基大使。2006年美国国家地理杂志旅行摄影大赛一等奖。2011全球旅游摄影大赛一等奖。

Welcome, My name is Charlie zhang

I am photographer Charlie Zhang, also known as Zhang Qianli.

With nearly 30 years of photography experience, I specialize in documentary photography, capturing ordinary moments and transforming them into vivid, emotion-filled images. My goal is to incorporate the strengths of documentary photography into wedding photography, striving to document the day without interfering with the couple’s wedding process. I aim to capture heartfelt stories in my work, ensuring that no matter how much time has passed, the photos can still evoke the emotions of that day.

Our collaboration is a journey of mutual dedication. It goes beyond a simple shot list. Your story is unique, and so are your photos. I call this “visual storytelling for weddings,” where the focus is not just on posing for glamorous group photos, but on capturing the essence of the wedding day and everything surrounding it through a documentary lens. It’s about the expression when the bride first wears her gown, the nervous anticipation while waiting, or even the dog running around at the wedding. I aim to capture a complete story, not just individual photos. This, perhaps, is what sets me apart from other photographers.

I have extensive experience in documentary and editorial photography, having contributed to dozens of magazines, including National Geographic, Vogue, ELLE, and Marie Claire. My portrait work has been exhibited at the Louvre. I’m also the creator of the highly popular media platform "So That’s How You Shoot," with millions of followers. I’ve authored several bestsellers, including The Travel Photography Bible, Mastering Photography, and Beyond Composition, with tens of thousands of copies sold. My solo exhibitions include Not On the Road and Hidden Images. Additionally, I am a contracted photographer for Sony and Hasselblad, a global ambassador for Gitzo, and a GRist and BenQ ambassador. I won first prize in the 2006 National Geographic Traveler photography competition and first prize in the 2011 Global Travel Photography competition.
